DESCRIPTION:
New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "Thoreau" crystal regulator shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 days, time and hour/half-hour strike movement, c1911.
CONDITION:
The top and base of the clock have been refinished or repainted. The gold plate on the brass doors and side posts is worn in spots. The porcelain dial has a hairline crack at the numeral 3. The hands are original. Ht 15 1/4".
